Currently the Prayer Shawl Ministers are making 5' x 5' bed blankets to support Milford Hospital's patient comfort program, "Compassionate Companions." Trained volunteers from this program provide a caring presence to patients at end of life. They ensure that no patient dies alone. These blankets are given to the patients as a comfort to be used on their beds. Our Prayer Shawl Ministers purchase the yarn they use to make prayer shawls and blankets. It costs more than $30 for materials for one blanket. If you would like to help by making a monetary donation to help offset the cost, please see a Prayer Shawl Ministry member or contact Toni in the Rectory. Thank You!
